Affiliates and Advertisers
- A new feature of the separate use of affiliate’s and advertiser’s programs are realized in SmartPPC Power. Now system administrator can set for advertisers and affiliates the possibility of switching over their programs. I.e. affiliate can freely change the program to advertiser’s program and use it as an advertiser with a help of the switch tool which is located on the main page of affiliate program. It is concern of an advertiser’s main page also. For the cases related to the undesirable use of this option there is a possibility for a system administrator to toggle this option off (admin area --> global settings --> accounts switch).
- To make the appearance of the Listing an attractive one you can use new modification: an insertion of listing’s URL into the search results which differs from the ‘real’ listing’s URL(advertiser’s area --> manage ads --> addnew --> shown URL). This option can be used for aesthetic purpose; when undesirable using of this feature administrator can toggle it off (admin area --> advertisers --> global ads settings --> use shown advertiser’s url).
- When choosing the concrete countries, where the listings of the advertiser are to be shown, a new possibility is added: ability to create a new group of countries. So when there is a necessity of repeated choice of the unique set of countries advertiser can use his own created group, that will considerably shorten time required to choose these countries manually. In addition some variants of ready groups are offered (Europe, USA and Canada). This option is also added as a possibility to add a big number of listings. The speed is increased in comparison with Pro version.
Protection
In the SmartPPC Power version some new types of protections are represented:
- Browser Exists Protection: There is a mechanism used in SmartPPC for checking click using the browser resources that cannot be used in the over-whelming majority of bots. That guarantees the highest protection level against bots.
- Quick Search Filter Timeout: If the searches are made with a very quick interval between them (administrator sets the value of the interval), so there will be no ‘pay for search’
- XML Feeds IP Blockers: Admin can set the list of IP addresses for each XML feed in order to prohibit the use of them in search.
- XML Feeds Keywords Blockers: Admin can set the list of keywords for each XML feed in order to prohibit the use of them in search.
- XML Feeds Domain Blockers: Admin can set the list of domains for each XML feed in order to prohibit the use of them in search.
